Schools & Educational Institutions

All courses are completely asynchronous, self-paced, and can be completed anytime, anywhere, on any internet-connected device. There are no regularly scheduled class meeting times.

While our teachers are primarily facilitators of course content and work diligently to provide feedback, updates, and support for students, they are also available for live virtual help on an as-needed basis

Currently, NJVS™ provides comprehensive (full year), credit recovery (accelerated year), and semester courses for students in grades 6-12.

Our Edmentum curriculum offers high-quality courses aligned with NJ student learning standards and includes rich, engaging video-based lessons in a mastery-based, active learning design.

Our courses are fully customizable and include flexible assessment retake options, custom pacing, and unit pre-tests that allow students to "test out" of assignments if they can prove mastery of the skills.

School staff accounts, along with parent/guardian accounts, will be created during the enrollment process and will subsequently receive all relevant messages and notifications pertaining to students. Access to the NJVS^TM portal also allows monitoring of student grades and pacing.

We are not a matriculated school program, so we do not provide credits - only grades. It is ultimately the decision of the student's home school district or attending educational institution to accept our courses for credit. 

All courses are facilitated by New Jersey Certified Teachers with decades of collective experience. All NJVS teachers are considered part-time MOESC employees who also teach in New Jersey public schools. We have a highly selective staff of dedicated teachers who align their work with the mission of NJVS^TM  and support a balance of flexibility, rigor, and academic integrity with the ultimate goal of student success.

Accessibility tools such as screen readers, visual aides, highlighters, translators, and closed captions are built into the Courseware platform to make online learning achievable by all. Click here for more information about accessibility in Edmentum.

Due to the online, asynchronous nature of the courseware, some modifications and accommodations may not be able to be supported. Please email any modification or accommodation plans to NJVS Principal Dr. Derek Tranchina (dtranchina@moesc.org) for review.

• Credit Recovery/Semester course: $350 each
• Summer School Credit Recovery course: $300 each
• Personal Financial Literacy: $225
• Bulk discounts are available for school districts enrolling large groups of students in the same comprehensive course

Please first contact Dr. Derek Tranchina to discuss your needs and approve relevant curriculum. After an initial conversation, relevant paperwork will be shared and student data can be added to an upload sheet. Payment can be made through purchase order.

Parents or Guardians can enroll their child directly online and pay via credit card.

On our registration system homepage, click Forgot Password. A window will appear which will prompt you to enter either the email address associated with your account OR your username.

An email with a link to reset your password will be sent to the email on file. If you do not receive the email, please check your Spam and Junk folders. The email will be coming from:  donotreply@bocavox.com.

If you do not see a Launch Course button, this usually indicates you are logged in as a parent/guardian. Look at the top right corner of your screen, you should see Student.

If you see Guardian, you have not logged in with the correct account. 

When creating an account, you may receive the above error message if you used an email address already in our system. Please go back to the log in page and click Forgot Username. Enter the email address you used on the Create Account page that resulted in the error.

Prior to dropping your course, please review the refund policy. After reviewing the policy, to drop a course, please submit the request by opening a support ticket.
