Student and parent/guardian must contact his/her guidance counselor/administrator
to determine which course is required: Comprehensive is a full course,
or Credit Recovery is a course to make up a failed class.
The student and parent/guardian must receive approval from the school prior to completing
the registration process.
Please note: The New Jersey Virtual School will provide the course. It is up to
the student's school to accept the grade and provide the credit.
- After meeting with guidance counselor / school, students complete the online registration
process (http://go.njvs.org) and selects course(s).
Students may only enroll in a maximum of two
summer school courses.
- Student’s guidance counselor / school will give final online
approval for course(s).
- Once the guidance counselor / school has approved the course(s), the student and
parent/guardian will receive an email requesting payment.

Full payment is required prior to starting a course(s).
Payment can be made online by credit card by logging into the student's account
and selecting "make payment". NJVS also accepts money orders (payable to MOESC)
mailed to (partial payments, personal checks or cash are not
accepted):
Payment by Money order: Parent/guardian may make a payment by money order. Please allow 5 business days prior to the start of class to mail/
drop off your money order in order for NJVS to activate your enrollment.
Please include your child’s name, course, school and home telephone
number.

- Once payment has been made, the student will receive a telephone communication
from an NJVS teacher to get him/her started in the course(s).
