NJVS Course Registration
Step 1: Read application instructions below,
print out for your reference (MS
Word or
PDF).
Step 2: Complete NJVS’s
online application (click
here). If your application is not completed
correctly it will not be processed.
Step 3: Your school’s Guidance Department
will approve the requested course.
Step 4: Payment can be made
only after the Guidance
Department approves your course.

1. Go to the online application -
click here to apply online
when ready.

In the
application, enter the appropriate information into the highlighted fields. Note: you must create a password for
yourself that is at least 6 characters and must contain at least 1 letter and 1
number. Please use appropriate
language when creating your password.

Scroll down and fill out all the
information for:
-
Personal Information
-
School Information (your
school, not NJVS)
-
Guardian Information
-
Make sure you check ALL of the
contracts and Policy Statements at the bottom

To do so, click on each item,
read through it, and check on the box at the bottom and click on Submit. You
MUST do this for each or you cannot
register for any courses.

Once all are checked and
submitted, click on Submit at the bottom to complete your application.

After your application is
submitted, a message will appear with your logon information and a link to logon
to NJVS. Copy or print out the logon
information and keep for future reference.

At the
www.njvs.org website click on Logon, and logon with your account
information and click on Login.
Passwords and case sensitive!

Once you are logged in, click
on “Request a Course” to select your course.

Select the type of course you
are taking
-
Advanced Placement – For
students taking AP Courses
-
Comprehensive – For students
taking the full course for the first time
-
Make-up – For students
re-taking the course for credit recovery
-
Select the Course you are
taking.

Select the appropriate
Available Semesters
-
Select a reason for taking the
course
-
Click the “Add” button to add
the course.

Click the Submit Request
button once you are done selecting all of your courses.

An email will be sent to your school’s
Guidance Department for approval.
Please note: You cannot pay for your course until the
Guidance Department approves the course.

Once your course is approved,
you will receive and e-mail informing you that the course has been approved and
you may now make your payment.

Payment can be made by credit
card, money order or certified check.
To make payment, logon using your logon information and click on “Make
Payment” and enter your credit card information.
Payment must be received before classes begin.
NJVS also accepts money orders or certified checks payable to the
New Jersey
Virtual
School. Please include your child’s name, school,
course, and your phone number.

If your school is submitting a purchase order, please disregard.

Once your payment is received,
you will receive a confirmation e-mail and be assigned to a class.

To logon to your course(s), go
to www.njvs.org/login.aspx and click the link to logon to
your courses.

Once you logon, click on
“Current Courses”. Your teacher will be
in contact with you when the course begins.
