Registration FAQs

Do you offer scholarships?

No, we do not have a scholarship fund at this time.

Can I use two credit cards to pay for tuition?

No, only one credit card can be used at time of payment (no splitting of payment).

How does a student know which NJVS course(s) to take?
Students must consult with their guidance counselor/school administrator to determine what course they need, and if it is a new credit course (comprehensive) or a credit recovery course (make-up).

What’s the difference between a New Credit (comprehensive) course and Credit Recovery (make-up) course?
Your school/guidance counselor will inform you of which type of course you need.  New credit means that you are taking the course for the first time, or you need to take the full course as stated by your school due to not receiving credit. Credit recovery means you must re-take the course, as per your school, in order to receive credit toward graduation/promotion.
Can I pay part of the tuition now and then pay the rest later?

No, all courses must be paid in full for enrollment activation.

How many NJVS courses can a student take at once?
During the school year, September to June, this is a decision that the guidance counselor/school and parents/guardians/student will discuss.  During summer school, students may take only two courses.
Who pays for a student’s NJVS course(s)?
Parents/guardians usually are responsible for payment. In some circumstances, the school district will offer online options and take responsibility for payment by purchase order. The student needs to determine with the school district that is paying for their course(s).  For summer school, parents usually pay.
What credit cards do you accept?

We accept MasterCard and Visa only.

What is the NJVS enrollment process?
Please see our registration guide.
Are there academic prerequisites for NJVS courses?
Academic prerequisites are determined by the student’s school district.
Do you accept cash or personal checks?

No, we do not accept cash or personal checks.
